Three Perspectives for Life

18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples o all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

There are 3 perspectives to decision making, the motive, the purpose or goal, and the command/action. Which ones are more important depends on who you talk to but the more important question is what parts matter to God?

This was the 2nd of a 6 Sessions that Jacob Van Sickle – Pastor of Sacred City Church in Providence Rhode Island gave at Winter Retreat 2021.

Winter Retreat is a college conference hosted by Campus Fellowship in the scenic Rocky Mountains of Estes Park Colorado with the intent to enjoy four days of biblical teaching, authentic worship, and Christian fellowship. Each year we come together to exercise the routine of rest as we get away and get with God.
